Looking for fun in the sun in Santa Barbara County? Mark your calendar for September 20, 2008 for a fundraising motorcycle ride for Care Net! All proceeds will benefit Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Center of Santa Maria!
About the Ride
9-20-08
- Check in begins at 8:00 am at 121 W. Battles Road (behind Del Taco) in Santa Maria. Don’t forget your bag of size 3,4, or 5 diapers!
- Lunch will be provided at the end of the ride for all registered riders.
- Raffle Prizes! Music! Great Fellowship!
- Non-riding friends and family members of riders have the option of meeting for lunch at the Union Hotel on Bell Street in Los Alamos. ($10. per non-rider)
- Event is open to licensed drivers 18 years and older
The Care Net Biker Diaper Ride – For – Life is 55.3 miles, leaving Santa Maria at 9:00 a.m. September 20, 2008, and riding through the Santa Barbara Wine Country. The Final destination is the Union Hotel on Bell Street in Los Alamos. Each rider will enjoy a BBQ lunch, music, raffle prizes, and more! - Stay up – to – date with parent curriculums and local classroom presentations
- On – going education for presenters
- More local radio and newspaper advertising
- STD testing for new and existing clients
- Doula program for expecting moms
Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Center is a non-profit organization that has been serving Santa Maria for 18 years. Care Net helps women an their families who come to Care Net in need. Last year Care Net of Santa Maria helped over 1000 clients!!! All services at Care Net are FREE! Care Net relies solely on donations from individuals, local organizations, grants, and fundraisers. Care Net of Santa Maria offers these services in Santa Maria, FREE OF CHARGE!
