On Sunday March 20, 2011 a benefit barbeque will be held in the honor and memory of Jerry Dean Burns. Jerry passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2011. Jerry was 48 years old and leaves two beautiful daughters, Breanna and Katelyn Berns.
The public is invited to attend and support Jerry’s family and assist with fundraising efforts. The Santa Maria Style Chicken Barbecue will be held at 807 W. Main Street in Santa Maria, CA on Sunday March 20, 2011 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Rain or Shine! There’s plenty of indoor seating, so come out for this bbq even if it’s raining. The bbq is sponsored by Jerry’s dedicated and caring friends at Joey’s Custom Wheel and Tire at 807 W. Main Street, Santa Maria. ( 805)922-5019 - Joey Duncan, Owner.
The menu is Santa Maria Style BBQ chicken (1/2 chicken), beans, salad, bread and salsa. $8.00 donation, with all proceeds going to Jerry Berns’ family. Sodas will also be available for sale.
In addition to this fundraising barbecue, donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated at all Rabobanks in Orcutt and Santa Maria.
Here are the directions for the Santa Maria fundraising barbecue: From HWY 101 in Santa Maria, exit Main Street and proceed west on Main to 807 W. Main Street. Joey’s Custom Wheel and Tire is located directly across the street from the Santa Maria Hyundai Dealer.
